My record collecting journey began with a gift. Years ago, my girlfriend, who is now my wife, surprised me with my very first turntable. I still remember setting it up, lowering the needle for the first time, and realizing that music could feel different when you slow down enough to really listen. That single gift didn’t just start a collection. It started a way of experiencing sound, memory, and time.

The holidays have a way of bringing that feeling back. This season is busy for everyone. Q4 deadlines pile up, travel plans stack on top of each other, and the year asks for one last push before it finally lets go. It can feel overwhelming. Records have always been my way of slowing things down when everything else feels rushed. They ask you to pause, to sit with a moment, to let a song unfold instead of scrolling past it. In the middle of the chaos, vinyl creates space.

That is the magic of records. They do not just play music. They help you slow time.

As we wrap up the year, I want to thank everyone who has become part of the Moose Pack. Together, we recently crossed 5,000 downloads of the Moose Vinyl app. That milestone belongs to this community. It represents trust, shared curiosity, and a collective love for records and the stories they carry.

We are continuing to build Moose Vinyl with care and intention, refining the app and expanding its features with one goal in mind: creating the best record collecting app available. One that honors the culture, respects the collector, and looks toward the future without forgetting the past.
