Raekwon's 1995 debut masterpiece, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... , is a cinematic hip-hop pillar that pioneered the vivid storytelling style of Mafioso rap. Featuring extensive appearances by Ghostface Killah and masterful, gritty production from The RZA, the album plays out like a gritty audio film detailing the street underworld. Widely celebrated as the "The Purple Tape," it remains a critically acclaimed masterpiece and one of the most influential solo albums in the entire Wu-Tang Clan catalog.
