Donna Summer rose to prominence during the disco era of music, earning the title "The Queen of Disco" and becoming one of the most successful recording artists of the 1970s and all-time best-selling female artists, with her catalogue selling more than 130 million units and billions of streams worldwide. This 7CD collection features the seven studio/live albums released internationally between 1975-1979 for Casablanca Records and which left an indelible mark in recorded music history. Donna's iconic and groundbreaking anthem 'Love To Love You Baby', was first released in The Netherlands in June 1975 as 'Love To Love You' but subsequently released worldwide in November 1975 as 'Love To Love You Baby' following her signing to Casablanca Records. The first album for Neil Bogart's label reached #11 on the Billboard Albums Chart. Over the next three years, the albums followed quickly - A Love Trilogy, Four Seasons Of Love, I Remember Yesterday, Once Upon A Time... - with Donna cementing herself as a global icon, with six further US Top 30 albums, including two #1 Albums in Live And More which featured the 17 minute 'MacArthur Park Suite' opus and "Bad Girls". Each of those albums featured at least one hit that has stood the test of time. We continue to celebrate Donna Summer and her musical legacy, as she continues to fill the radio and TV airwaves around the world.
